Andrew Moody, an alumnus of Virginia Tech moved back to the Nottoway County area in 2010 and joined the Access Realty team. With a degree in Property Management and minors in Real Estate and Business, Andrew is well versed in the field. The first five years of his career were spent working with a large property management and commercial real estate firm in Harrisonburg where he managed a multimillion dollar portfolio of residential and commercial properties as well as homeowners and condo associations. Andrew and his wife, Kim [Parrish] Moody, moved from the Shenandoah Valley to the Piedmont area in 2008 where he spent the next 18 months working in the accounting department of his family's business in Culpeper. Throughout his time in the Culpeper, he missed Southside Virginia and the field of Real Estate and decided on a move back to the community he grew up in.
Throughout their marriage, Andrew and Kim have had the pleasure of renovating four houses and one commercial property. Three of those home have been sold for a profit as part of an investment portfolio, so he also brings a unique eye for investment properties to his work. Additionally, he has also served as either the President or Vice-President of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association in each community that he has lived in as well as served as the Treasurer of their last homeowners association. Andrew continues to cultivate his love for finances as he also owns his own bookkeeping business, Stewardship Solutions, LLC. His wife, a licensed Interior Designer compliments his work in real estate very well with her company, Kim Moody Design, through her services in home staging as well as wedding planning & interior design! Together the two are partners at trend. (a retail business in Downtown Blackstone they built from the ground up). In the little bit of free time that Andrew & Kim have, they enjoy spending it with family and are delighted to be back in the area they've always called home.

Carolyn is active in her community, serving on the board of directors for the local chapter for Habitat for Humanity. She was appointed by former Governor Mark Warner to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Virginia Museum of Natural History, and is currently secretary of the Nottoway County Electoral Board. She is involved in the current revitalization of downtown Blackstone project. Carolyn has worked diligently for the prevention of domestic violence, as evident by her volunteer work with the local domestic violence shelter.

Hi! I'm Lisa Johnson, Realtor for Access Realty in Blackstone, Virginia. I began my journey in Real Estate in October of 2007. I enjoy helping people find the dream of home ownership. I am quite the active agent finding my skills in marketing and developing customer relationships.
When I'm not helping clients buy and sell their homes, I'm helping them build a new home or renovate an existing. Together my husband and I team up to make JL Renovations. Our specialty is creating a place our clints are proud to call home. My main objectives within the company are Project Designer & Marketing.
With such a busy schedule I still find time to enjoy the true pleasures in life, my husband Joshua, daughter Taylor, and son Joshua Jr. Together we enjoy afternoons by the pond, Guitar Hero, or playing with one of our many pets; Maddy our Mastiff, Billy the goat, or Blackjack the bobtailed kitty. No matter what we're doing it's always fun as long as we're together.
If I can help my clients create a place to live their lives and make lasting memories in a home they love, as I have, then I've accomplished a great feat. A feat I enjoy doing everyday!

In 2002 I began learning about Property Management through a well known Management Company in Richmond, Virginia. Learning the ropes of big apartment communties and housing laws quickly sparked my attention and skills. After two years in the management field I got my Real Estate license in 2004, and decided to bring my management skills to Southside Virginia.
During the height of the Real Estate boom I partnered with my mother in more Real Estate sales and listings. Carolyn and I formed many lasting relationships with clients, and learned hands on the trials and rewards of the Real Estate market. In 2007 I followed Carolyn when she opened the doors to Access Realty, and in 2008 became an Associate Broker and Office Manager.
Today I spend my time between Real Estate and Management calls with my family, husband Mitch, son Davis, and daughter Caroline.
